Scripture Psalm 115(116) v 16

O Lord, I am your servant;

I am your servant, the child of your serving-maid

You have loosed my bonds

Observation

I aim to be God's servant, but I struggle to be free of all my other attachments.

Application

Let go of the things that come between me and God. The sins, the attachments, the desires. Embrace servitude and following God. Strive to be what God wants me to be.

Prayer

Lord help me to let go of all of the things that keep me from being a better follower of yours. Help me to put you at the center of everything I do, and to tame the emotions and desires that get in the way of truly following you and giving my life to you.
