Scripture Luke 4:21

'This text is being fulfilled today even as you listen.'

Observation

The text is still being fulfilled today if we listen. Jesus still comes with good news for the poor, liberty for captives, sight for the blind, freedom for the downtrodden and the Lord's favour for all who will listen.

Application

Am I listening? Am I paying attention to what Jesus is saying to me?

Prayer

Lord, help me to pay attention, to discern in my life what it is that you want from me.
